Simplified.UPDATES: Removed the weight sleds and added one more 10y movement. Now worth 35 points total.
Team communication and individual endurance will help you win this stage. USMC calls this movement a "rush". The Army calls it IMT (Individual Movement Technique). Whatever you name this movement, it sucks! Normally a 3-5 second (5-7 yards) sprint. For the sake of scoring and uniformity, ours is 10 yards. Practice doing sprints and burpees to prepare. Use of the Fussion Tactical Helocopter Retention LanyardMarketed as a safety strap for helo passengers, many special operators wear this kit secured permanently on their gun belt to be used for hands free casualty recovery. Simply slap the D Ring through the casualty's drag strap and start pulling. With the weight being pulled from your waist, your hands are free to engage targets. For the the Wolverine 5K stage "Eagle Scouts" you will have the option to wear this lanyard, or simply use it as a tow rope to pull a simulated casualty backwards. Additional techniques.Run time minus points earned. If you complete every Wolverine 5K task, and able to get perfect scores on all stages, you could earn up to 471 minutes off of your 5K orienteering time. We expect the winning teams to have negative times.
Time to start finalizing mission plans. This is the initial mission plan. Updates will continue as stages are slightly modified.
Are they worth doing?FRAGO is short for Fragmentary Order.
A FRAGO is used to change or modify an Operation Order. Usually a side mission which still falls within the Commanders Intent and mission parameters. In the Wolverine 5K, FRAGOs are optional side quest, while on the orienteering route, that may/may not benefit your overall score depending on your strategy. SITREP: Your team needs to quickly attack the town to create a diversion, while your friends escape to Free America. If you’re fast enough, you could make it out of there with a little luck and a lot of skill.
*This is a 2 phase stage. “Guerilla Games” SITREP: Mr. Mason has a couple of heirlooms to hide with you. But before you go taking in new rebels fighters, you should first test their skills.
This is a multi-event stage that will take place at 2 designated stations “Alpha” and “Bravo.” The team may conquer this stage in any order they wish, but communication with the RSO’s is important for safety and scoring. All athletes will start seated, handcuffed to the start table. On command from the RSO, athletes will use ONLY the provided bobby-pin to unlock themselves from the table. Athletes, may help their struggling team mates with unlocking their handcuffs using provided bobby-pins only. Once free from the start table, athletes may choose between Station A or Station B. Athletes may move between stations at any time, but no more than 2 athletes can occupy a station at any time. An athlete may not do the same test more than once. Successfully accomplish as many test as possible within the allotted time (See the above page for more details on skill tests). Scoring: · Total points, divided by number of athletes (Round fraction scores down) = TEAM SCORE. Having working knowledge of foreign weapons is a needed skill as a Wolverine in the Guerilla Games. It would be helpful, to be familiar disassembling, reassembling, loading, firing, and unloading the standard issued communist weapon.
