“Come On, Bud. You Lost A Game Once Yourself.”

SITREP: You are down to the final 2 minutes of the big game. Using teamwork, communication, and endurance, can your team pull off a miracle play for an upset win?

Location: Range #3 (25 yard bay)

Ammo Count: (per team)
  • Pistol: 8 mags of 3 rounds (24 rounds total) per team.
  • Carbine: 8 Mags of 3 rounds (24 rounds total) per team.

Stage Time: 2 Minutes ???

Shooting Position: Standing. Body armor worn by hardcore athletes.

Number of shooters at once: 1 shooter, but a team relay stage.

Description:
On command from RSO, load and holster pistol. Carbines will remain unloaded while in motion and will only be loaded & unloaded at the marked (cones) shooting positions.

On command from the RSO, the team will lift the log off the ground and place on the shoulder of team members.
  • On the shot timer beep, the stage begins and the team will lift the log over their heads to release 1 athlete from the log.
    • Once the athlete is gone, the team will lower the log onto their shoulders. The log may not be permanently rested on top of the team’s heads. Must rest on shoulder while an athlete is shooting. This forces lifting the log up and down several reps through out the stage.
  • 1 Athlete will leave the log and choose any of the marked (coned) shooting position.
    • Using handgun or carbine (shooters choice), shoot 1 round into the A Zone body box of each of the 3 targets which correlate with the color of the cone at that shooting position.
    • If a position has 2 cones, the athlete will shoot a total of  6 rounds (either 2 handgun mags, 2 carbine mags, or 1 of each).
    • Each coned position may only be used (shot from) once.
  • Once the athlete has fired all rounds and carbine and has been shown clear of magazine and bolt to the rear on an empty chamber with weapon on safe, the athlete will go back to the team.
  • Before the team releases the next athlete.
    • The log must be lifted from shoulders to over head.
    • The log must stay inside the designated log lifting area (may not follow the shooter around the range.)
    • All team mates must be physically touching the log (tagging in/out)
    • All team members must shoot before a team member shoots a second time. One team member can not shoot 2 times in a row, except at double coned shooting positions.

Scoring:
  • 1 point per hit in the A Zone body box.  Total score = TEAM SCORE.
  • BONUS Points!  = The top 5 fastest teams who complete all shooting positions within par time will be rewarded a ranking down point bonus.  Fastest team will receive 5 point bonus, 2nd fastest team will receive 4 point bonus, 3rd fastest team will receive 3 point bonus, etc.
  • Max Team Score Possible = 48 points plus 5 point bonus = 53 points.
